Event and Database Manager

Event and Database Manager, reporting to the Director of Ticketing. This position requires a minimum of three years of ticketing experience and knowledge of database management. Responsible for building shows in the Ticketmaster Archtics system, as well as customer data reporting . Must have strong communication skills with focus on customer service.

Information Technology Technician Part Time

Assist the Information Technology department in the day-to-day operations, including helpdesk, system deployment and server administration. Must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work unsupervised, willingness to learn about new technology and good problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience with the following a plus:

  • Active Directory.
  • Windows 2003/2008.
  • Exchange 2003/2007.
  • Windows XP/7.
  • Linux.
  • VMWare ESX/ESXi.
  • Mac OS X.
  • Server/Desktop Hardware.
  • Programming/scripting experience.
  • Network equipment (Routers, switches, etc.).
  • Backup Exec.

CAPA has the following internships available to either OSU Federal Work Study Program participants or any other student seeking unpaid internships:

Development Internship #1

Research prospective donors, write reports, assist development staff.

Development Internship #2

Assist in maintaining fundraising data base, generate acknowledgements, assist development staff.

Marketing Internship

Grass roots marketing, assemble press/marketing materials, plan and work at festivals and events, assist with marketing database, marketing research. CAPA is currently accepting resumes.

Human Resources Internship

Organization of employee records, analysis and coding of benefit payments, upkeep and editing of policy manual, documentation of human resources procedures, miscellaneous payroll projects.
